Lillian (Lil) Ledford with a black bear skull

This January the market executive committee appointed a new market manager, Lillian (Lil) Ledford.  Lil grew up on a small family farm outside of Stanardsville Virginia, and now works as a member of the Blandy Experimental Farm Education Team. She has prior experience as a volunteer coordinator and program manager at the Nature Foundation at Wintergreen, as manager at the Firehouse Gallery in Berryville, and in her trained fields of archaeology and education.

An active member of the Berryville and Clarke County community since 2008, she is currently on the board of the Piedmont chapter of the Virginia Native Plant Society, on the Education committee of the Shenandoah chapter of the Virginia Master Naturalists, and is a member of the Clarke County Historical Association, the Barns of Rose Hill, the Appalachian Trail Conservancy, Friends of the State Arboretum, and other area organizations.

She looks forward to using her professional and personal networking and planning skills to the fore in service to our Community Farmers Market.

Please reach out to Lil with any of your market questions by email manager@clarkecountyfarmersmarket.com or by call/text at 434-989-6354 (between 4 and 9pm on weekdays, 8am – 9pm weekends).
