Well the spring hustle and bustle is definitely upon us. The birds are chirping and the grass is growing and turning bright green. We have had a busy week dragging pastures and getting fields ready for spring turnout. It’s been a great sight seeing the cows all out grazing as the grass begins to grow. We spent two days flushing donor cows and proved fairly successful. The recent rain showers have made it nice for driving post and building lots of new fence. Monday we had an exciting new foal and that concluded our foaling season here at Audley for 2018. We look forward to some of the mares returning from Kentucky. All of us here at Audley are getting geared up for farmers market season and look forward to seeing familiar faces and making new friends.
